How InboxEvo works

Install it once. Use Gmail normally.

InboxEvo works directly inside your browser while Gmail is open. Choose the features you want, return to your inbox, and let the extension provide helpful feedback in the background.

Getting started

Three steps from installation to a calmer inbox

InboxEvo is designed to be easy to understand from the first time you open it.

Install the extension

Add InboxEvo from the Chrome Web Store once the public release becomes available.

Select your preferences

Open the InboxEvo settings panel and enable the features you want to use.

Return to Gmail

Continue using Gmail normally while InboxEvo watches for relevant inbox activity.

Step one

Add InboxEvo to your browser

InboxEvo installs as a browser extension. There is no separate desktop application and no additional email service to configure.

  • Visit the official InboxEvo browser-store listing.
  • Choose the option to add the extension.
  • Confirm the browser permissions shown during installation.
  • Pin InboxEvo to the browser toolbar for easier access.

Step two

Choose how InboxEvo should behave

Open the InboxEvo settings panel from the browser toolbar. Each optional feature can be controlled independently.

  • Turn new-email sound alerts on or off.
  • Control delete confirmation feedback separately.
  • Change preferences whenever your workflow changes.
  • Keep features disabled until you are ready to use them.

Step three

Open Gmail and continue working

Once configured, InboxEvo works alongside Gmail. You do not need to open a separate dashboard during normal use.

  • Read and manage email through Gmail as usual.
  • Receive optional feedback when supported actions occur.
  • Reopen settings only when you want to make a change.
Everyday operation

What happens while InboxEvo is running?

InboxEvo watches Gmail for supported activity and responds according to the settings you selected.

A new message arrives

InboxEvo checks whether the activity represents a real new email rather than an unrelated Gmail interface update.

Feedback is provided

When the related feature is enabled, InboxEvo plays the selected notification or confirmation sound.

Your settings are respected

Disabled features remain quiet. InboxEvo only uses the options you have chosen to enable.

Staying in control

Change, pause, or remove it at any time

InboxEvo is designed to remain optional. Your browser gives you full control over the extension.

Adjust settings

Open the InboxEvo panel and change individual feature preferences whenever needed.

Disable the extension

Temporarily turn InboxEvo off from your browser’s extension-management screen.

Remove it completely

Uninstall InboxEvo through your browser whenever you no longer want to use it.
